Our Engineering Philosophy
We do not believe in bloated software or marketing fluff. Razix is engineered from the ground up for raw performance, absolute security, and unparalleled reliability. Our architecture is inspired by the high-trust, low-latency systems used in high-frequency trading and enterprise finance, applied directly to web routing.
1. Performance at the Edge
The core engine of Razix is a custom-built reverse proxy written entirely in Rust using the Axum framework. By leveraging Rust's memory safety and fearless concurrency, our edge nodes process requests, terminate SSL, and route traffic in milliseconds. We don't use heavy, legacy web servers; we use purpose-built, bare-metal-fast binaries deployed in sandboxed Docker containers on Google Cloud Platform.
2. Institutional-Grade Security
Security is not an afterthought; it is our baseline. Our infrastructure operates on a strict least-privilege architecture:
- Isolated Data Access: Our edge proxy connects to the routing database using a strict read-only role (
proxy_reader). It cannot access, modify, or leak user accounts or billing data. - Network Armor: Our backend servers are completely hidden from the public internet, communicating exclusively via a Tailscale mesh network and strict UFW firewall rules.
- Transient Processing: We mitigate malicious bots and DDoS bursts at the edge. Request payloads are passed through, not logged.
